My hobbies include video games (e.g. Stardew Valley), board/card games (especially hearts and Dominion), ballroom dancing, and ping pong. I'm planning on starting a new crochet project soon.

I am the vice president of the UO's graduate student chapter of the Association for Women in Mathematics and I co-chair the Reading Room committee.

Internet Recommendations

• My academic sibling Cruz Godar creates stunning applets demonstrating the beauty of math.
• The MathSciNet collaboration distance tool describes the authorship relationship between any two published mathematicians. In particular, this is great for finding Erdős numbers.
• Detexify is an excellent tool for LaTeX learners. How it works: draw symbols that you don't know how to TeX. Detexify will guess what it thinks you've drawn and then provide code for doing it in your document.
• In a similar vein, TeXnique is a game which tests your LaTeX skills.
